Today we had unusual thunderstorms with some downpours due to monsoonal moisture flowing in. Just after I took this photo it started pouring rain, although, it was warm, around 82ºF/28ºC. Photo take on Labor Day, Sept 5, 2011.

Lori:
The next day it rained for many hours...and then it got extremely hot and humid. It was horrible!
The monsoonal flow officially starts in July through September in San Diego, however, in south eastern California and Arizona...it starts the beginning of June.

It must be wonderful when it rains at those temps... I don't know if I could stand the dryness though. How long does the monsoonal flow last?
