Beebalm, 'fireball'

Of course, I've brought back the fireball beebalm to have another go. I love the fragrance of this bergamot, enough that even a late plant without flowers will be fine with me. I must have this fragrance.

Yes, the fragrance of the plant, as an herb. The flowers have the least smell of the whole thing. I save some just the have around for the smell.

These are very aggressive growers. My weather is all that contains them. They barely have time to grow the second year, I've given up on them before.
ps No worries Sticki. I would agree, they can get out of control. Keep deadheaded, and divide each year, for best control.

THey can really be something, and they last so long. I just pick out the dry destroyed petals after rainy days and they stay very bright and fresh.
