They do tend to flop with the weight,don't they? I grow mine through one of those ring planters..which I find helps a lot..they are at their best just now,,the bees think so too. :o)

Mine's been in the garden years and I've only got four sprigs of it!

Sheila, mine just gets bigger and bigger. I've divided about four times, plus little ones keep coming up. Even a leaf will grow.

Cinders,mine are those latticed ones,and as it grows,I can just train the stems through each section.you hardly see it when it has matured...I also have the tallest size size too,and use them for the Achillias,at the back of the border..they get very big,and tend to flop over ..still have to use garden twine and a tall stake at the back of them..or tie them to a Pyracantha branch..:o)

Yes I put a stake in as well, have four clumps now, thats enough.

Always cut it down in the spring when the new shoots are coming through.

Mine were not very good this year
