Thank you Sticki and Cinders. I really enjoyed making and decorating this cake. Took me six hours to mark and paint (with food colouring) all the squares.

I can tell you enjoyed it ~ wouldnt mind having a go myself ~ i think its lovely to be doing something so absorbing and creative.

Yes, Sticki, I really lost myself when doing this cake. (it was a horrible day, weather wise) I got the Jane Asher book from the local library. She has great ideas for cake decorating. One I particularly loved was a breakfast tray, with cup and saucer, boiled egg and toast on a plate - all of it made from fondant icing! She's in a league of her own!

i have seen some of her ideas and they are lovely ~ she is a very talented lady!!
dont tell me you are going to eat it ~ its too good!!!
