First spring blooms, just put in last summer. I was very excited to see blooms. Front bed in front of the house. Lovely smell out in the lane.

Sweet and floral, not anything heavy like lavender oil. I think its wonderful, one of those childhood things, always makes me think of family and warmth.

Awwww, same with me when I'm around with jasmines, it reminds me my granny always involved with her garden :)

This variety is the same variety we grew in the mountains of Idaho in the backyard. In spring, we raised rabbits, the new bunnies would all be half size and white. we would release them in the backyard, being a large enough family to keep them hemmed in to play. Always, we had to dig one out of the lilac bush trying to escape. Always when they were blooming their heads off. Such simple memories make such vivid pictures.
