fountain down for cleaning; this is winter in arizona!

Lovely planting around the fountain & the pelargonium is a beautiful colour. Looks like you have a great winter in Arizona .... I have two sons living with their families in Michigan & not quite so nice there over the winter (by a long shot lol). We have relatively mild winters where I live in the central part of the North Island of New Zealand, & we are so lucky that we see blue sky & sunshine virtually all through the winter, even when the days feel cold .... but it looks positively warm in your Arizona winter. I bet this area looks gorgeous when the fountain is on.

Oh, I'd take your winter any day. I live in Canada and we get snow and cold as low as - 40 C or - 40 F without the wind chill. I really like your garden.

thank you for the kind comments. we had one christmas about 15 yrs ago when we woke up to an inch or so of snow on the ground. the saguaro cactus and desert had a blanket of snow (which melted off within a few hours, of course) and we were out in jackets, shorts, and sandals to marvel at the miracle. as i get older i don't know if i could handle the canadian winter; but i always liked the cool weather better than the 110 degree heat. i did live in yellowstone national park in wyoming when i was a little girl and loved it...
