Yes really good..well done! Do you have to seal it with pva or something to be outside?

18 Sep, 2011

Hi Pixi thanks, er not sure about the seal the grout and the adhesive said for external use but I will check with Lulu as she does a lot of external mosaics. Still not managed to put it in the garden yet it has been too rainy so my kitchen table is out of commission!

Yeah she's the boss! lol
Been rainy here too again..was sunny this morning but see dark clouds in the distance. Sigh...

It's fab nana! Did you use that grout lightener you bought, very effective!
Most grout is waterproof Pix and so is the PVA, which doesn't really come into contact with the rain anyway!!
Rainy and some sunny spells here, grass is growing again!!

Use the same glue and grout........just make sure no gaps and stick it all onto a weatherproof backing like stone, slate or paving stone.

I haven't Nana. It would need a new coat each year I think, just to keep it safe from the wet. Yacht varnish and the likes.

Hi Sandra I haven't but I think I might go to Wickes I'm sure that they had some sort of clear seal that you can put on to protect outside tiles and grout
