Stag in Forest

Not grouted yet.
This took ages. It's the first time I ever hand cut all the glass!
Very tired now, this took nearly 2 days!!

STUNNING!!!

20 Sep, 2011

For a giggle I nearly put a 'fake' robin in, just to annoy Bjs!!
Glad you like it, it's been quite a scary piece to do. Message to self...don't cut glass when you are tired, wasy to make mistakes, either ruin an expensive piece of glass or, cut your hand/finger off!!
Grouting no problem. Am about to google if there is a transparent grout (not sealant, doesn't work!) Or else I am left with white, ivory or charcoal black. Tinted grout always looks tacky. Might end up having to hand paint it!!
Thank you all for your comments. I very much welcome them. You all give me ideas and inspiration.
By the way.......... I MUST GET INTO MY GARDEN SOON. poor garden has been neglected and is suffering for my art!!

love this one..looks so..well stag like..strong powerful purposeful..is the width of this the same as a wall tile or are they thicker..? could you done one that would work with wall tiles for the insert of a cooker chimney..in a kitchen?

Hmmmm, possibly already sold Lulu!!
:)

I love it too Skips. It's probably about not much more than a half inch thick. Will go measure up later.
Wall tiles are very thin...........Someone inserted my first ever mosaic into the wall above their aga, often wonder how's it's fared!
