This is the best blue I've ever found...it's soft but it stand out. and the plant is a bee magnet. Will have to check up on that, Tet. Since the "disease" didn't get here until the Europeans arrived and this is a native plant...I'm wondering who gave it that nomenclature...the puzzle of the week!

Thanks both of you...I found it adds a cooling touch to beds with a warm colour scheme...It also looks great other tall natives like Monarda didyma and Echinaceas. It tolerates dryness and will grow as well in sandy soil as it does in enriched garden soil.

LOLLOLLOLLOL>>>>> Ok Tet...you can roll it ...you can smoke it! The natives considered it a cure all! If you're really pressed for smokes you could roll your nicotiana leaves... (course, you have to cure them first!)
