WHAZIT?

WHAZIT?

I found this plant in the garden center, without a name tag of course. I thought it was related to creeping jenny, but now it's flowered. Guess it needed all that rain. we ar two inches a bit more from the all time recorded record. NOT that I want to go for it, but it's raining now and will be for the rest of the week, until late Sunday. Least it's showers and intermittent, not downpours. the basement might stay dry. I HOPE.

Central Pennsylvania has the 'distinction' of having more rain this year than we did during 1972 when hurricane Agnes came here and dumped all her moisture in about 5 days. I think we now have over 60 inches of rain.

The paper put it in perspective when it said we are 10 inches of the annual record for the delta region of Louisiana- which is sub-tropical America. We for sure have had more flooding in the low lying regions and the basement here has taken on MORE water. nothing some towels can't pick up, but UGH... more work, more cleanup and more dehumidifier action today and tomorrow. Plus dealing with wet sacrifice rugs and towels. Better than the rugs in the adjoining TV room I suppose. 8-).

Off to DEAL with it.

I duno what that plant is, but it's nice.
I heard about all that rain, it must be so hard to deal with.
As my mother always said, the world is badly divided as we could use a few good heavy showers here in Calif.
