Daylily Green Dragon

Ooh, this is a spectacular colour Dwyllis, would look great with blues and purples. I've added 2 more Daylilies this year, golden yellow ones, I'm really pleased with them, and they soon bulk up into large plants.

It would certainly look great with those colours Janey. I had a very ordinary plain yellow one in my previous garden, & was of two minds whether to include daylillies in my garden, but on checking online at a private nursery just for daylilies, I have been amazed to see that there are so many beautiful ones available here in NZ. We seem to have a lot of small family-run nurseries here, often attached to big farms, & a lot seem to specialise in one particular plant & are raising new cultivars of that plant all the time. I think Green Dragon is just amazing. These 'green' flowers are hard to find, & this one is particularly gorgeous with that vivid citrus tone to it. Very fresh. Am going to order it today before I leave for work.

thanks for the lovely comments everyone. I ordered this online yesterday, but have asked them not to send it until second week of October, when I am hoping to be sufficiently recovered from the surgery I'm having in four days time, to see if safely planted in.
