Could anyone identify this one please? It is almost reed like.Found it growing with my penstinum.

Hi Meadowland. Looks like Juncus inflexus or Juncus effusus, common rush.

They do seem to seed around from nowhere. :). Not too invasive in water unlike bulrush which has been the bane of my 'pond' life on the past.

Hi J...I remember this well, it almost took my eye out years ago, be careful they look soft but tough as old boots...and do spread their seed around...

I'm also allergic to Wasp stings...blow up like a ballon...have to be so careful...I always keep Piriton handy just in case.. It's only since I got older this allergy developed....never was bothered when younger...be careful...:))
