Need plenty of Patience but worth it in the end, that has to be a year since they were sown.
Shortage of seed this year the squirrels have striped the seed pods off while still green.Something else I shall have to cover next spring. I feel a shotgun coming on.

Let them grow as they are through the winter don't re-pot for at least a year. Its very likely they had a root before the leaf, they have an optimum time to start growing as the temperature cools and they consider there is still enough day light, give or take a week you may well have further germination next spring when the day light hours are the same as now. They are very clever have some sort of brain, bit like Jamie know when it is dinner time and he can't read to tell the time.I suppose he has a little brain somewhere.lol

you dont say what cyclamen it is ,but generally they will grow, but may take even longer to come out of dormancy,I would soak them in water for 24 hours before sowing this will soften the shell

Just been brave and put them into water until tomorrow. Will get some more compost from down the road then I shall plant them a few to a pot.
