I wouldn't be taking a risk unless you can guarantee that it'll be frost free..........

We don't usually have frost. Unless it's one of those weird winters that come about every so often. I will try next year with one of the cuttings. Keeping the two mommy plants safe.

I think you'll be safe with this plant outdoors. It's a tough, hardy plant! It will tolerate some light frost...even if it's moderate frost it should recover very quickly! (I've seen this plant growing in the frost pocket areas of the San Francisco Bay Area...and they never seem to suffer much damage, if at all). I know it sounds unusual considering it very tropical native land.

So mine will be ok in the garage then!

Before you know it, you'll be running out, also...not unless you have many acres.

It's a big piece of property but I'm only going to use one section for my garden...save the rest for the kids.
