Well its far away form me..but Scotland hasnt had the best weather this year so I think you timed that one right :)

this was last year, we have had wonderful weather on our scottish holidays ~ not quite so good this year tho.

no ~ Harris 2 years ago, Camusdarach last year and Islay this year ~ but this year it was cold ~ we went a little earlier.

Oh, thank you pixi and Scottish. I have visited Inverness where we have friends but other than that yes, it's always the west coast - my dad loved it - can these things be genetic? He took me across Skye and to Lewis when I was 18, loved it ever since. I have also stayed on Mull, visited Iona (which I love), Muck and Jura.

I've always wanted to go to India..only cause Dad has lots of pics from when he was there during the war as a PT and boxing instructor! :)

Another place you must see is the Hermitage jsut up from Dunkeld in Perthshire..its beautiful esp in Autumn :)
