Oh, I know Crissue, I just love France soooooo much. OH not keen sadly, so I might just have to go all by myself! :S

France is such a beautiful place. Spent 3 weeks in a friend's lovely old farmhouse, which they were renovating .... rent-free, we just had to paint a room whilst we were there, which I tend to do all the time, so no big deal. We were in Verdun, which is rather flat countryside, but we travelled about a lot. My youngest son was 12 then .... he's now just about to turn 30, so that holiday was some time ago, but the memories are still fresh.

What a good deal that was ....When we were renovating, plenty wanted to stay for free, nobody wanted to help...except one very kind Man...shame his wife was breathing....she was a horrid woman....lol

They are thirty olive-trees around the house..
But we don't make olive oil with them because it is more expensif that we buy a bottle in the shop... :-))
