I bought a pink one as well,Carole, but lost it..but I like the white one better,I think..
Thanks Pixi..It seems to be doing well, and stil lots more buds on it..:o)
I'm not sure,Moti,I have forgotten, but I will ckeck the packet..I believe it does tend to take over..but it has plenty of space where it is,so should be ok..

I like this white one, Sandra ... unlike the pink I have and am forever digging out where it's not wanted ... invasive little so-and-so! . . . . .

Maybe as well I lost mine then..:o)

Definitely ... I dug up three of the pink ones ... it still appears beneath a huge Hydrangea and even pops up beneath the concrete path ... grrr! ... :o(

I didn't know it was so invasive..I wont be buying another, that's for sure..I'm glad you told me,thanks.:o)

This has got me thinking, Sandra ... Spritz recommended a pink one that is not invasive ... I shall have to check to find the variety ... back in a moment! . . . . .

I checked the pic of a lovely pink double variety ... general consensus is 'Queen Charlotte' ... after 4 years it had grown to 3' tall and spread 2'6" ...Spritz resorted to using weedkiller for the invasive pink one and Meanie had to lift paving slabs to get rid of it ... so now you know it is a thug! ... :o(((

Oh dear, that really is a thug, isn't it ? We have the white ones in one of the council gardens, next to our bus stop, and although they have spread nicely, they don't seem to be invasive..mind you, they have plenty of room..! :o)
