He is a very handsome Owl!! and has quite a gentle look about him;0)

In my language, as well as in Greek, owl is feminine gender. You know, white owl is the symbol of Pallas Athena, the goddess of wisdom.
I love these white owls which fly to us each year in the winter from Russia. They are flying silently. In the darkness they suddenly appear in the light beams of my car and disappear. Look like ghosts.

I would love to see in flight, like your description, they would look like ghosts;0)
