Hi all...It's been a long day today...worked through the heat, couple of breaks in between...done loads...and had OH doing loads too...;including digging out a big old Spirea....had it years...split it and took a young plant to start again...you wouldn't believe the Root stock on this shrub, unbelievable....anyway loads more room tee hee.....:)))

Showered, hairwashed, pampered and having coffee... no more for me today...:))))

Hi Paul... The closest one is Weigela it's flowers are deep Red...I've forgotten the variety, had it a long time...funny all the flowers are on the other side of the fence...:)))

I'm slowly getting round mine too - doing all the painting etc has set me back a bit!

We've got that to do during the Winter months, well inside anyway...Hall, Bathroom, Kitchen..and a new floor for our little Sun room...
I would have like to have got at least some of the outside wood ie Arch etc painted too, but it's all weather dependant...

Haven't finished it all Crissue....it was all outdoors, I have really had to get stuck in and get the garden cleared up for winter. Will get those jobs done first and finish the fences at my leisure!!
I've had to promise to paint indoors next year. It really needed it this year but the garden has taken up all my time :)

Doesn't it just...I think I prefer to save the House painting for the miserable months and for the good weather anything than can be acheived outside...
Problem with painting Arches etc, is getting round everything that's growing on it...ah well...
