I am so pleased with it Crissue, in fact I am really pleased I bought three plants last year without even knowing what colour they would turn out like, must have known it would be this good.

You set me off yesterday...I saw some very pretty Asters Deep Blue/Purple...and I'm trying like mad to get a pic that shows them as the the real colour...but I keep getting Pink...:(((
Are yours in the garden...and how hardy are they...

These were all in the garden over the very harsh winter we had last year Crissue and they all survived, so I think it is safe to say they are very hardy. Good luck with the picture I find that it is difficult to reproduce the colours of plants exactly as they are from the digital camera. Sometimes on the camera they appear to be different and then when I download them to my computer the colours are ok.

Morning Crissue, that one you posted a picture of yesterday is very pretty. I am off out now into the garden to finish off tidying and transferring plants, it just needs some more compost now and then I have finished. We are forecast some rain (hopefully) today. We are in desperate need of some hope you have a good day. B x

Just popped back for a coffee...Just dug over some of the Chooks Yard...they had the worms out before soil hit ground...lol...and transferred some bearded Iris to the back fence...have made quite a lot of room there since the Spirea has been taken out...it was years old, came with us from the I.O.W. so OH split a young one off and it's in a Pot now...
Cool here no Sun, but so far no threat of rain...will give me chance to do more without the intense heat...showers forcast for Thursday...Enjoy your day...Sue x

Just been making some tomato chutney, adapted a recipe that I found, will see what it tastes like when it has cooled, I like playing around with recipes. It tasted a bit on the vinegary side when I tasted it warm but will hope it matures a little as it cools off. Sun been out, wind dropped down, but clouding over looks like I might get some long wished for rain. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finished making our Chutney a couple of days ago...I used Apple cider Vinegar this time instead of Malt, and soft brown sugar...it made a big difference.
Sun's been and gone here, bit windy and quite chilly...
Had my Flu jab this morning, felt a bit achey in the legs, so rested a while...I think we'll probably get some rain too...

I used half and half apple cider and malt vinegar, and Muscovado sugar, tried the chutney at lunchtime on ham sandwich it was yummy. I am off for my flu jab next week. Rain clouds went over without giving me any water. :o((( Quite a bright late afternoon, hope it rains soon.
