Full-size image of my Lawrence Crocker Daphne. This was the second time it bloomed and it has new flower buds on it now. I am hoping it will bloom again before we get a hard freeze.

Thank you, so far it has been the ideal little daphne. It was a tiny cutting still last fall and now it is beginning to look like a shrub :)

Did you take the cutting? I haven't ever done hardwood cuttings but might have a go this year?

Nope I didn't take that cutting but I do have a number of daphnes I grew from cuttings. This one is supposed to be easy to root but I have not yet had luck with it. Many daphnes are fairly easy to root though. I've done a few hardwood cuttings (mostly conifers) but they take a long time to root. I've had best luck with daphne cuttings using semi-hardwood late June through mid-August.
