Motty, I have bought some from Plantagogo this year. They are small when they arrive, but they grow ever so fast if you pot them up in to john innes no.3 with added grit. I've been very pleased with mine. I'm also lucky because my local nursery have started to sell lots of these...I think they can 'read my mind'!

I know what you mean Moti...our GC is the same...
Yesterday they had loads of 'Caramel' and 'Plum Pudding'
No Palace Purple for a change...
I use a soil based Compost too Karen and added grit...
I have a French Nursery that has some varied varieties but I've got all theirs...they are smaller, but cheaper too, but they grow quick, once they're settled and happy....

I've split the other Caramel Shirley that is in the garden, and the colours really do pick up once its been outside in the Sun & air...like a mixture of the colour above and orange...

Sounds gorgeous, Sue ... I am slowly ovecoming my dislike of the colour Orange ... standing joke on here ... lol!

Funny you say that Shirley, I've never been keen on Yellow or Orange...but have overcome that this last year, with so many variations on the colours....
You'll have to pm me with the standing joke lol...:))

Popped to have a look at your 'Caramel' after you mentioned it to me, and wow, I definately will look for one, its a beauty Crissue..... :>)

Thanks Lin...I've got another Caramel also, and after replanting them in the Heuchera Border, I saw that this was identical to my Marmalade, so I think it was mis labelled at the GC...
I will post a pic of the other Caramel so other Goyers can compare, but they are different...they are both beautiful though...

This looks a bit different from my 'Marmalade' Crissue, but perhaps your hasn't got its autumn colours in its leaves yet. Its a lovely plant though. Crissue, do you mind me asking the average price you pay for your heucheras, the last 3 I bought were 5.99, is that about right.....

Hi Lin...I don't know whether you've kept up with our conversation on the Caramel/Marmalade Heucheras, but it seems this one is Marmalade and was mis labelled by the GC...so I now have three Marmalade and no Caramel :(((

I pay an average here of £8.00. for the size above....but if I ordered from the Nursery, they are half the size and and between £4 & £6 that's with the exchange rate at the mo of 1.1 euros to the pound...
So I think you're paying a decent price, depending on the size...
