Except for my clems :) Will have to set up an irrigation pipe. Will they maybe come back next year??

Well you are very lucky there Lulu, a nice long border and wall and your other beds. Is that your studio at the end, you could run a couple of butts off of that.

Yes, they may well do Lulu, and next year you could put a deep mulch over the roots to help keep some moisture in. It's not easy is it ..growing them near walls...

Hi Johnjo, will go take a pic. It's one of a selection of 'Kew greenhouses' the bossman chose.
I find it to high and not long enough! Also the thermostat has been placed under worktables so of course, in the winter, the heat hits the underneath of the worktops and then cuts out leaving everything in it to die.
I do hope the gardener here will be able to move the tables so I can keep my wonderful Salvias safe!

Yep, thats the studio. There is a pipe system which I could plug into along a hedge the stud put in last year, watering everyday is a fag!

That sounds like a good idea lulu. You can spend your whole life watering. Otherwise, even if things don't actually -die they never do really well, without some water. Your salvia is so pretty - real shame about the name!
