Dentelle de Malines

This is one of three lovely roses I ordered from a rose nursery online today, for my long new fenceline border. Grows to 1.2 mtrs & has a light scent.

the rose is beautiful ... but I'm not so sure about the name. Does anyone know what that means?

It means Mechlin Lace a type of expensive delicate lace which originated in the city of Mechlin in Belgium

Thanks for that Drc & thanks for asking the question Poppylover. I did wonder about the name myself .... such a delicate-looking rose, so delicate lace describes it perfectly.
