That's a shame. Mine was planted in the autumn of 2009 so it's had two really tough winters to come through in its infancy, but it's still with me and growing happily

Is your garden very sheltered Andrew, as I notice you grow some fairly tender plants.

DD - it's surrounded by other properties and there's a railway embankment three doors away that blocks southwesterly winds. I also mulch or fleece vulnerable plants
