Mine has reached at least eight feet but these are the first flowers this year. It is in a dry spot, right against the house. Where do you grow yours?

Mine is also in a dry spot near a south facing wall, it has been flowering about a month or so, I think this is the earliest it has flowered in 10 years. I will post a pic I took a few days ago :)

I love this plant and it has been on my wish list since I saw it at NT Knightshayes and I've still not found somewhere local to get it from-do you know if it grows from seed easily?

Pixie - according to my RHS book, you can sow seed in spring at 13-18C. The only places I have seen it for sale were at a private garden open for charity and a Rare Plant Sale in London.
If you look on Plant Finder on the RHS website, there are about 20 suppliers listed; the nearest to you is Coton Manor in Northants

Seems to be a good year for them, mine has the most flowers its ever had. :o))
