no its just that we have some but they are very poor specimens. if its meant to be a bog plant that would explain a lot!!

Yes it does need lots of water but beware though it highly invasive.

it is a very narrow little flower bed alongside the drive, not much grows there!!

I had mine in a pot on the patio and its escaped from the bottom into a paving gap and appeared in a flower bed. I wrote a blog on how it took me 5 years to get rid.

Rosie it grows unseen underground and then suddenly appears everywhere.

Thanks Drc726 ,I will look out for that,but I like it so much , I might let it do its own thing. As it is in the bog garden ,there is nowhere else it can escape too. This is a separate garden.
