That is Bruce's toy box...I made the mistake of clearing under the sofa ...He has got over a hundred of these in all states, yet he still gets so excited every time a new one arrives.

How's your mono chrome coming on ?

Try painting a Savoy Cabbage leaf for mono chrome fill the page but just 1 leaf.

havent started! have to be in the mood. had a go at finishing this weeks task! ~ not good.
how much drawing should be done before attempting the cabbage picture? nice idea btw. have you tried the cling film effect??

Hmm..When you start on cling film an stuff I think of rag rolling walls an the like... Rough outline, but pencil in where the leaf curls over at the edges, the main veins, then go for it..Green is a good choice for monochrome as you can go from blue black to acid yellow.

excellent, thank you!! better put the cabbage on the shopping list for tomorrow. biggest challenge will be drawing where the leaf curls. [ i think ]

tutor gave us a townscape ~ possibly oxford and small landscape at edge of ploughed field, couple of houses, tree, hedge and sky.

good thing i have two weeks to do this ~ i also fancy doing a wood from a distance with fading layers of trees if you see what i mean.
