Many thanks for all your comments, he just sat there posing for me about 2 foot away. I took loads of pics it was hard to just pick one. He's been very bold right from his first visit a couple of weeks ago and I miss him when he's occasionally elsewhere.

What a good idea Sticki, I never thought of that :o)) Six of each pose should do it!

Oh he is lovely Lily, I would be going out digging up the garden to encourage him more ! lol
Excellent shot.

Good shot...

Brilliant photo, he does look like he's posing, Lil.

Thank you Crissue and Rose, it's so hard to resist a robin, I just keep taking more and more pics :o))
Great minds think alike Val! First of all I upturned the lid of the compost bin, lots of thin worms collect in there but he didn't even give them a second look. Then I offered him some dried mealworms but he turned his beak up at those too so yes, just like you I went and got the fork and dug some soil - he was straight in there! So he's a poser who also knows just what he wants :o))

20 Oct, 2011

doesn't he just....:)))

21 Oct, 2011

Oh, there's lovely - he does look as if he's posing quite deliberately for you, and looking you square in the eye at the same time. Anyone know why some robins have that white patch beneath the red and others don't?

21 Oct, 2011

I've never noticed it before Bamboo, I'll be checking out every robin I see now!

22 Oct, 2011

Who do you think you are?

28 Oct, 2011

??

29 Oct, 2011

...Question for the bird, Bamboo.(LOL)

29 Oct, 2011

Oh, right - I was puzzled!

29 Oct, 2011

Me too Bamboo, glad you've got that sorted out! I was a bit disconcerted there Katarina LOL

29 Oct, 2011

So sorry, might be my way of humour. I can´t help, his pose reminds me of a teacher or director. Lol.

30 Oct, 2011

That's just what robins are Katarina, bossy little birds! This one would make a good director or teacher as he frightens all the other birds off the feeders and follows my cat around the garden, cheeping all the time until she gets fed up and goes indoors. LOL

30 Oct, 2011

Lool. Little manipulator of the yard, isn´t he?

30 Oct, 2011

What a great pic, spot on focus.
Well fed in your garden "bistro".

30 Oct, 2011

He sure is the boss Katarina! LOL
Thank you Geordielad and welcome to GOY. I must admit the focus is down to the camera and the poser, not me! He might have to work a bit harder defending the "bistro" when the weather turns bad though.
