How lovely for it to be flowering already. Mine has buds on, but rarely flowers before Feb.

This is the one from my mum outside the front door, it always has plenty of sun shine.

Ah yes, good place for it then. I love them. They are common as muck aren't they, but still a really beautiful garden plant.

Ours gets the dreaded beetle, cut it back really hard this year and it now looks a great deal better.

I now have three of these as they are useful for screening, being evergreen. I've got one in front of the compost bins and two on the side of the garden which has a low fence between us and the neighbours. The flowers are small but when photographed like this you can appreciate them much more.

I have two in the back that get attacked by the beetle but this one is always ok and covered in flowers.
