Poppylover, these were from a mixed bag of bulbs labelled 'Matisse Collection' and the colours have been magnificent.

Can recommend this collection ... got it from Tesselaar. This is the second year I've grown them and they are just so fuss-free and rewarding.

I wish I could grow these lilies! I've tried before and they look horrible here. If you buy them grown and in bloom then they do reasonably well.
It's amazing they do so well in your climate.

I haven't had much trouble with them as yet, Andy. The first small collection of bulbs I bought last year were unfortunately completely swamped during the wet season, so this year I haven't planted them out in a garden bed. I'm keeping them in pots and hopefully they will come back for me next year.
