I wonder if you know this little plant? You need to get close to it to see the pretty little curls on the petals.

Noooooooooo......it's a little, hardy perennial plant, Amy! The leaves look a bit like a French marigold. I think it's great! :-)))

It's worth tracking down for the colour at the front of the border at this time of year. Such a little plant, but so pretty! I fell over another one at a rare plant fair and bought it fast! :-))

Watch out for the rare plant fairs next year, Tet. You might find one - not until the autumn ones though, I suspect.

I have a very small loose-leaf file with alphabetical dividers. I write my 'wish-list' plants in there...and where I've seen them, as well as any stockists I come across.
