It's looking great! Pretty soon it'll be very large.

Thanks Delonix. I have two red ones that are huge again. Those I chop down every spring. They would take over my house if I let them.
I plan to let the ones in the garden grow very very large!!!

I know some varieties don't grow very large...and then there's the varieties or species which can grow to 80ft/24m. Most of the very large species only grow in the rain forest of the tropics.

24m....that must look fantastic.
Let's see how large the ones in my garden will grow. I know the white one will grow very big...a cutting from my mom's plant (her's is in a pot and still nice and big).

I've never seen one 24m here in San Diego, usually most of the larger species will top out at 10m. In Hawaii, especially in the rainforest, Hibiscus tiliaceus can grow to 24m or taller. They are so massive you wouldn't believe it's a Hibiscus.
I have a recent photo of a large Hibiscus tiliaceus I took at Disneyland.
Here's the photo:

Thanks Tet.
I have an orange double one that I make from a cutting last year. It only had two flowers the whole summer and they were so low I couldn't take a good picture.

That makes orange sorbet with thick yellow clotted cream. Yummy!

Clotted cream??? I don't thin I like the sound of that.

Cornish clotted cream is almost yellow Alex..but we can settle for custard if you like lol!

Custard sounds better....yellow I don't mind but clotted cream gave me the shivers.
Spike is wearing me out Tet....I take him for walks and he brakes his collars. Strong dog. He thinks that he is the one taking me for a walk. It's the battle of the wills between us....and guess who's going to win.....ME.

I can see it now Alex, you boss him around and he does exactly what he wants lol!

You pretty much got the picture right. ;o))
Seriously though, I need to get him to behave so my teenage kids will be able to take him for walks this coming summer.

Always a worry Alex especially as he could be protective of them.
