My Abutilon 'Tangerine' is starting to bloom. The Abutilons tend to start blooming when the temps start cooling down at night here in San Diego. CA. Photo taken Oct. 31, 2011.

My larger one in the front yard is just starting to bloom.
When I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, I used to have very large Abutilons, which bloomed heavily all year.

Do they like the same conditions as Hibiscus?
I still have mine in a pot...will plant it in the garden spring time.

Actually, Abutilon likes cooler conditions.
