Sandy-on guard on the front drive!

Yes, I can see he's keeping a sharp lookout for intruders on his patch.

He has made friends with the young fox from the forest, just across the road! I kid you not, we saw him walk towards the fox and then chase him down the garden !!!!
The fox wasn't scared particularly but was a bit shocked I think.
Then they stayed in the garden with Sandy leaping out at the fox while the fox was trying to look for grubs and stuff in the path and the bushes.
Sandy wasn't bothered at all. We think it's because they are the same colour hee hee. Has anyone else seen cats and foxes 'playing' together?

I was thinking they must be similar colours...
Keep your camera ready to photograph fox and cat together !

foxes were on autumn watch last night ~ they would be a good place to ask.

Apparently it is not uncommon to see cats and foxes playing and they are also supposed not to be that bothered by each other, if anything the foxes are a bit wary of the cats!! Well I never.....
