Its a Carp....and I dont think anyone eats them anymore, but it was a lovely one.......

Beautiful specimen. We have some good carp lakes here & love to pop out with a flask & a sandwich to watch the anglers. I get good camera time also with the flora & fauna surrounding the lakes.

I used to fish occasionally from the breakwaters and pier at Sandown when we lived on the I.O.Wight. Caught plaice, and the mackerel used to come into Sandown bay in shoals, but now hardly any.
