Very Large Bougainvillea in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA

There's several of these gigantic bougainvillea growing in the park...they have trunks like trees. Photo taken Nov. 14, 2011.

I can imagine. Bougainvillea is one the most widely planted vines here in San Diego.

I've been looking out for these and tall Royal Palms, Delonix...and I managed to get both in the same picture!
It's not a great photo (taken from inside the car at traffic lights)! But I'm just about to post it. :))
