Caught him with the help of a towel a lot of choice words and flapping!!! - must have looked a little odd as I walked into the garden giving the pigeon a telling off before letting him go!! Good job no-one overlooks the garden :o)) I think it is called 'Magic Carpet' ? It has lovely tiny pink flowers in the summer.

Very Sheilar. Don't know who was more scared me or the pigeon :o) Thanks, yes it is lovely. Mum bought it for me on a visit to Scotland. I usually prefer fresh flowers but I think this looks really nice.

It's better than the chimney N3 , we had one trapped in the chimney for 3 days before we realised where the sounds were coming from , when we managed to get it out it flapped all round the room sending soot everywhere , I had to chase it to make it go out of the window ,it was black i'm surprised it hadn't choked to death with the soot ....

OH NOOOO !! Sorry Amy but that made me :o). That is bad. All that cleaning nightmare!! Could have been worse, you could have toasted him. :o) Stupid birds :o))))))

It was lucky that we had blocked the chimney off for the summer or it might well have been BBQ'd :o(

I thought everyone had those cowl things on chimneys these days - stops any birds falling down

Oh dear Amy. I have an open fire, but not sure if there is anything on the chimney to stop this happening. Will have to ask the Sweep next time!! Oh but then what would happen to Santa ?????? :o(

We didn't have a cowl then Sheila but we have now ! Ah the magic key N3 my daughter has one of them Lol... You should leave the mince pie and a very large whiskey near the front door so that he can help himself .. he will pop the magic key back through the letter box when he leaves :o))
