I think I had something like this in my old garden, P - does it emerge into a sort of spike covered in 'berries'?

Thanks all, it may have been an Arum Kf, if it was around 30cm, this one is about 1m tall. :o)

Thank you, never tried to grow them from seed but tempted to have a try with these, I suspect it takes quite a while to get them to flowering size.
