We used to get the odd one in the shower when I was in Oz - not the same as this, but very similar.
Mind you, we shared the apartment with a Tarantula who just moved in one day!

Meanie!!
Tarantula!! That's not nice!! So dangerous and grotesque too!! I don't mind seeing odd frogs in the garden now ane then (not in the shower though), but definitely not a Tarantula in the house!! A shiver runs down the spine just thinking about it!! Did you get rid of it eventually or did you enjoy the company and keep living with it? I want to know!!!
Crissue, thank you for the kind comment :)

As I say, Spike just moved in. Seemed to like it and stayed!
Not dangerous though - they have a nasty nip but rarely prove fatal. There was far worse spiders to worry about.

Spike!!! obviously you were on first name terms!!!
i love this little frog tommy, do they come in your garden all the time?

When it's that large that you can look each other in the eye, it's important to be on first name terms!!

its the least you can do to pay respect for each other.

Lol Meanie and Sticki!
I thought Tarantulas were dangerous, but obviously they aren't. Meanie proved it!! lol
I often see rain frogs and toads in the garden. Rain frogs love to hide behind shutters in summer and sing with their mates (or is it a courtship ritual?). Toads hibernate every winter in tiny niches under/between rocks and I disturb their sleep once in a while when I dig holes for plants. In summer, they roam around the garden after dark and sometimes scare me to death. Aughhhhh!!!! Toad's revenge lol :o)
