Thanks Paul i just have loads of patience and love the seed growing process.... but if you asked my kids they would differ there about the patience :-))

isnt it strange how you can be infinitely patient with one thing but not with everything, i am the same, but i am patient with children, other things drive me to distraction!!

that's true Sticki, but my kids know just what buttons to push on me...

kids are very good at that from a very young age!! i was a teacher!!!
its the OH that drives me to distraction.

I'm lucky my other half knows i'm garden/plant mad :-))

it was tough SL, but it wasnt the children that finished me off.

I bet it was tough we used to drive our teachers mad :-) i had the cane more than once !!

i think you should tell us more!!!

i never had the cane and by the time i was teaching it was not allowed.
i had to stand outside the headmistresses door once for climbing on the climbing frame after the bell had gone ~ we thought we were going to get the cane.

Lol, you were lucky then :-) i kicked a ball through a window, in assembly i pulled a chair back as the boy in front sat down etc.... a rascal i was :-) my kids don't know though !! they think i was an angel :-)) i stll got my o levels though :-)

got mine too! the sixth form girls wore sashes at the side of their skirts if they played in the first hockey or netball teams, i tied one to the chair in assembly so she couldnt get up to sing the hymns or leave on time to file out properly.
no cane but i still dont think my boys think i am an angel ~ no surprise ~ im not!!!

i agree, i decided it was helpful to me rather than harmful, if it makes you feel better and does no one any harm then that seems ok.
