I think this one is Hadspen Cream. It has heart shaped leaves edged in cream. That is the description given for HC. I have asked if anyone can be more specific in a question so hopefully they will. From photographs I have seen the Variegata leaf is more splashed with the cream,it is not restricted to the margins.

Any luck Scotsgran?
I think mines just cream on the edges, I'll have a look this afternoon, although its probably died back now, haven't been down the bottom of the garden where its planted for a few days, thought I'd taken a picture earlier in the year but apparently not :-))

Bamboo directed me to a website where a photo showed a similar colouring to mine claiming it is Variegata. I think I will need to wait to see whether the flowers are blue or lilac. I think so many of these varieties are so close in every way that it is not possible for amateurs to distinguish which variety they have actually bought. When I first got interested in gardening a friend advised me to buy from nurseries not garden centres because you are more likely to get exactly what you are looking for there. Growing conditions tend to change how plants behave so more light more cream on leaves maybe.
I have just trawled the internet to find out what Variegata means - it only means more than one colour on the leaf. It could apply equally to B. Variegata and 'Hadspen Cream' I think I will have to be happy knowing I like the plant regardless of its name. It will be nice to see yours.
