Musa 'Ice Cream' - Ice Cream Bananas

With the hot weather the last 5 days my Ice Cream bananas are ripening fast. I had to cut the stalk today. I'll have to give them away quickly, because with temps from: 82ºF/28ºC to 87ºF/31ºC. they'll over-ripen quickly! Photo taken Nov. 29, 2011.

They should be the slightest yellow on one banana, then the whole stalk should be cut.

On my goodness if only we could grow bananas like that here.......have a scrummy banana cake on the go at the moment......

When should I cut mine, D...Esther thinks that they should be almost black...but I don't like black bananas!!!
