Thanks Sl, this was given to me as M.echinata but it has yellow anthers instead of purple or blue, im wondering if it is a smoothed leaved version of M.pustulata I would be interested in your thoughts.

It should open some more yet Sheilar.
M. Mine are still in small pots in well drained compost haven't got round to potting them on yet, won't do this until next summer now. The temp. in the greenhouse has been down to +3c at its lowest.

Ph i know what you mean but most of the M.pustulata i have come across have some hair or pimples on the leaves but there are some smooth about so it is possible. i must admit i thought that Pustulata had the bluish tinge to the anthers but maybe Meanie could help there..

Thanks all, Sl I had a day off today so checked my other Massonia in daylight I have 4 others all have pimples, some more than others so I think they are M.pustulata. I have changed the name above accordingly. I have checked with my friend where he got them and will e mail the nursery for their comments.
