Sorry Drc, I missed your question when I was answering Homebirds's comment.
Yes they are sold as annuals, but as I said mine have re-seeded every year since I potted up the first little seedlings.

They love to spread themselves around, Andy. I don't mind them at all as they bloom for ages and ages.

Yes, I did notice they bloom for a long time...mine are still blooming.

One of the reasons I just love them. I think I'll be planting some out in spots in the garden beds next year, now I know how hardy they are in our climate. I've been growing them in pots out on the courtyard and it's time for them to move out into the big wide world.
