A little closer. Here are two flowers that were just beginning to open this morning!

These couldn't be any easier to grow! If you can grow a Daffodil you can certainly grow these! Only you can't leave them outside in the winter nor plant the bulbs 6" deep!

Step dad used to keep the bulb in the linen cupboard, kept it going for years. Our cottage is quite dark and extreems in temperature so I don't go in for house plants any more, enough to do in the garden!

those are beauties Balcony. My stepfather used to love amaryllis. I am lousy at houseplants!
