I'm not sure ANYthing is dormant yet, P. I think we're heading for a load of trouble when the bad weather finally gets here. I've just been out into the garden for a breath of fresh air and to do a bit of moon and stargazing, and it's so mild out there (9.30 p.m.) 10°c, and today I was sunbathing. It was 17°c and like a lovely spring day.
So have all of you in the UK tethered yourselves to the ground with ropes? Did you all get blown away? I thought originally only Scotland was expected to get hit by high winds, but it sounds as if lots of you further south have been suffering too. Everyone OK?

Beautiful! Such amazing colours. Fred dropped all his leaves (not that he had that many) on Monday.
