Well it IS a Christmas gift - to yourself!! you're worth it aren't you? I bought a gorgeous scarf for my daughter today, got it home and decided to keep it myself!! lol

I just realised they may find out I was looking in Lidl for their gifts..They will think I am made of Money Sheilar !

When my daughter admires my new scarf, I'm not going to tell her it was for her originally (I'll be buying her a different one). Do Lidl sell scarves? :-))

GC open till 8 o'clock near here ~ not too many shops open after that!! but then it sells so many things you dont need to go to many others!!!

Which is why I try to avoid them at this time of year!!

I seriously gift shop on the 24th...two hour of deep contemplation and a 10 minute walk each way...Jobs a good un.

I hit market street at full pace, the language is choice....I get pushed, barged and elbowed once each. What ever shop I am outside...That is where your gift is coming from unless it's busy.

This is why I buy presents all year rather than at Christmas......if I see something in April that I would like to buy for someone I do. And I give it to them then rather than wrapping it up and storing it.
