Decorative willow tree

This is view from my window this evening. Actually, this willow originates from one decoration I bought on Easter 5 years ago. After Easter I noticed white think rootlets at the bottom of the vase - so just experimented and planted it on the bank. Now the willow tree with decorative scrags has 5 metres.

Yes! Tortured willow! It must be the right term. I was looking for it in vocabulary, but did not find it, of course...THANK YOU. Will edit it now, lol.

terratonie, hi and lol. It is not mystery, these are willows. They have tremendous will to survive.

Beautiful picture, K., this birch tree looks very like a tortured willow my Mother used to have - very dramatic against the sky.
