Thanks everyone....fraid Freckles is a very poorly little Cat....The Vet said it was a Granular Cyst, and small Tumour. The Cyst was all in pieces and he had a big problem to get it all out.....She has to go back in 10 days to have the stitches removed and to see how she's doing, in the meantime, she has antibiotics and other medication to take...so we can only hope and pray she will pull through ok...
She has never been sick a day in her 9years...so it's a shame...
Will keep you posted...xx

Hi everyone, she's coming round a bit, and wants to come out....We have a big Pet Wire Cage, and we lined it with a single quilt so its padded all round...then laid a big clean Towel inside (one of theirs ) on paper, just in case...so its very comfortable and darkened too...and I'll stay with her tonight on the settee, just in case, she gets upset...Will update tomorrow...goodnight all :))

Afternoon everyone....
Thankyou for your well wishes for Frecks, she would be thrilled...but i've told her anyway as you do...:)))
A bit of an up an down night, mainly for me, she cried a little, and she managed to eat a little and drink a little..but all in all was quite good...I slept with one ear open...and i've just finished a nap now, as I was soo tired.
We've given her medication and pain kilers... and she's managed a little food, and a lot of water..and she's up on a chair stretching her self out, so that's got to be a good sign...isn't it...:)))

All sounds good crissue, starting to eat and drink too!

She's improving slowly...Thankyou too David :))

Would like to update everyone on Freckles progress...I'ts been 11 days since she had her op...and she had her stitches out yesterday, she's completed all her medication, and the Vet said she was pleased with her progress...She says everything feels good in her tummy, and she's healing well...We explained she eats sleeps and you know what..and the Vet is pleased. she doesn't try to go out, just sleeps the day through...The vet said she has a lot of disolvable stitches inside too, so there's a lot of healing going on, after a very big op....

Yes she's quiet and sleeps most of the day...but she's coming along slowly, eating very well...
I'm a bit mother hen at the mo, don't want her to go out now she's just had her stitches out, a few more days eh...then we'll see...
